Our Dogs

Rosie, 12 yrs. old, has her CD obedience degree and her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certificate and is trained for Open obedience and has been known to put her own twist to the exercises when in the ring. Rosie is also registered with the Canine Health Information Center, CHIC #19355. Rosie is the dam of Ch. Glenlair Thistledown Star, Ch. MACH Thistledown Starry Night CD RN TDX, and Ch. Thistledown Desperado who won Best in Futurity in 2004 at the Great Western Terrier Assoc. first annual futurity.

In June, 2005, at The Great Western Terrier Association's second annual futurity., Rosie's grandson, Ch.Thistledown Red Pepper CD CGC, (CHIC #39814), won Best of Breed Border Terrier from the 9-12 month puppy class.

Rosie's daughter,Thistledown Special Romance (Mandy), (CHIC #19585) has consistently produced lovely puppies. Ch. Thistledown Devil In her Heart (Devon) came from her first litter. From her second litter came Ch. Thistledown Romantic Legacy (owned by Kirk & Maggie Gramcko). From her third litter came Ch. Thistledown Cayenne, Ch. Thistledown Peppermint, Thistledown Wild Thyme, who is pointed, and Ch. Thistledown Red Pepper CD CGC who was Best of Breed at the GWTA second annual futurity, June, 2005. Mandy is now retired from the whelping box and we hope her daughters will follow in her footsteps by producing beautiful babies.

Ch. Glenlair Thistledown Secret (CoCo) (CHIC #29985) is co-owned with her breeder, Sandra Tool. CoCo is sired by Ch. Dunraven Durum Wheat TD SE x Ch. Kernow Beauty Secret. Beauty Secret is a daughter of BIS Ch. Glenlair American Beauty who is a litter sister to our Rosie.

We have a promising pointed daughter from Mandy's last litter, Thistledown Briar Rose. She is sired by Ch. Tudoc's Hagrid JE, the last son of Ch. Krispin Jack B Nimble.

Our newest addition is Roxie, Glenlair Hollyridge Thistle. Roxie is co-owned with Sandra Tool and is by Ch. Thistledown
Red Pepper CD x Ch. Glenlair's Along Came Mary.

Thistledown Song Sparrow is another promising youngster we are keeping from our Pepper x CoCo litter.

And last but not least is our Pointer, Scarlett. Scarlett has her CDX obedience degree and was always in the ribbons at the trials. She worked hard and earned her CDX in three shows in three straight days and now enjoys her days in the recliner chair.
