In 1996 we moved to the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains of Southern California and live in Big Bear City at 7,000 ft. elevation. Big Bear is a ski resort area in the winter and the lake provides recreation in the summer. Prior to our move to the mountains we lived in Diamond Bar, California for approximately 25 years. We were looking for a small town with plenty of trails to ride our horses. Besides our family and animals, we have other activities we enjoy.  Hank is a Major in the Civil Air Patrol and is commander of the squadron in Big Bear. We are also very active in our church, St. Joseph's.
We have three sons, Michael, Jon & Kevin. Michael and his wife, Pattie, have two children, Phillip and Megan. Michael has a busy equine veterinary practice in Arcadia, CA. Jon and his wife, Vanessa, live in Orange, CA and Jon is the administrator of a skilled nursing facility. Kevin is regional manager of a chain of popular Mexican food restaurants. All three of the boys were active in endurance and competitive trail riding.
